The Stagea is commonly referred to as the Skyline wagon and was originally produced by Nissan in 1996.

There are 3 different versions of the Stagea: the WC34 Series 1 (1996 to late 1998); the WC34 Series 2 (late 1998 to 2001); and the M35 Series (2001 to 2003).  Carmen Import Centre is licensed to compliance the M35 Series to 2005.

The M35 Series is available for import in the 2.5 litre turbo engine as a 4WD.  The 4WD system is similar in operation to the Nissan Skyline GTR.  Engine power in the 2.5 litre turbo is 172 kW (231 hp).  Choices of transmissions are 4-speed auto, 4-speed tiptronic and 5-speed manual.

The M35 series looks very different than the previous C34 models and is derived from the Skyline/G35 sedan (V35 platform).  As per the Skyline the engine was changed from the RB series I6 to the VQ series V6.

The following range of models is available for import:

250tRS FOUR V/RX FOUR: VQ25DET engine (V6 2.5L single turbo, 205.94 kW), 4WD
250tRS FOUR V HICAS: A 250tRS FOUR V with the addition of the Nissan HICAS four wheel steering system
AR-X FOUR: A 250t FOUR (i.e. 2,5L turbo/4wd) model with increased ride height and SUV-like body ornaments. 206 kW (276 hp)

Nissan ceased production of the Stagea in early June 2007.

The Stagea is a versatile high performance wagon that handles exceptionally well and gives the family plenty of room to move.
