Step 1:

Vehicle - What's your wish list?

Budget - How much are you willing to spend to get the right car?

A flexible wish list and budget assists CarMen in exceeding your expectations

 

Step 2:

Stage 1 Payment: A Deposit of $1100 (inc GST) goes towards the purchase of the vehicle.

A buyer’s fee of $550 is included in this amount, and is non-refundable.


Step 3:


The search for your import begins, utilising our trusted overseas buyers.

No vehicle is purchased without full inspection to ensure CarMen’s high standard and quality.

Step 4:

When a possible match is found within budget we contact you.

Vehicle specifications and costings are discussed


Step 5:

Stage 2 Payment: This covers the vehicle purchase price and local Japanese charges & fees, paid prior to shipment

Application for a Vehicle Import Approval is made to the Federal Office of Road Safety.

Step 6:

Shipping is booked on the next available reputable car carrier destined for Brisbane.

Shipping takes 3 - 6 weeks to arrive and clear through Customs.

Stage 3 Payment: All freights, customs and import duties

Step 7:

Arrival at CarMen where compliance will commence.

Any items required to pass RAWS Compliance - such as removal of previously installed modifications, minor repairs and safety certificate requirements, must be performed prior to your vehicle being approved by the Department.

Step 8:

QLD Safety certificate and registration

OR

Transportation to your nominated location

Final Payment: Prior to vehicle delivery.

Step 9:

Enjoy your Import Vehicle!
